On June 29th at 3:45 PM, I received a call from the number 83495920. It started with an automated voice claiming to be from the "M1 Customer Service Center". When I selected the Chinese language option, I was connected to an operator. A lady (operator) requested my name for verification, which I provided. The operator (scammer) informed me that my mobile service would be terminated in 2 hours because my phone allegedly sent numerous harassing text messages to the public. Since I never use text messaging, I was curious about the validity of the call. I realised it was a scam when I noticed the call number was not an official M1 customer service hotline, so I decided to end the conversation.
