I received a call earlier from a man claiming to be a "DBS" Bank employee, verifying a suspicious transfer noted on my "DBS" account to a "UOB" account belonging to an individual on a criminal watchlist. After I informed him that I hadn’t processed the transaction, he asked me to verify my details. When I questioned this, he repeated his name, provided a "DBS" employee ID number, and claimed to be from the "DBS" transactions department as a means of authentication. I later called the "DBS" hotline and confirmed that the call was a scam, and no such employee or transaction existed.
