Hi, I would like to report a scam. Yesterday I received a call from a friend informing me that someone was pretending to be me.

First, he informed her on WhatsApp that I lost my phone, so he changed my number. My friend politely replied thanking him for the notification. Afterwards, he called my friend. My friend said that his voice was exactly the same as mine. He said that a Malaysian relative of mine came to Singapore today and suddenly suffered a stroke and was hospitalized. Since I just changed my phone number, I couldn't pay the hospitalization deposit through paynow, so I asked my friend to help me pay it first. Fortunately, my friend was alert and didn't help directly. Then she contacted me through her husband using my original mobile phone number, and I found out about this scam!
