A Chinese male with a PRC accent contacted my company to ask if we provide floral services, introducing himself as "Chen Laoshi".

He requested for the person-in-charge (PIC) to meet him and the "HCI" principal at the school premises the next day to discuss the flowers required for a school event.

I emailed the school to inform them of this incident, which we believed to be a scam.

"Chen Laoshi" made further contact, which we ignored, and recently sent us a WhatsApp message asking about the 20 bouquets.

We ignored his messages and blocked his number.
