I saw fake news on Instagram this morning about JJ Lin being on CNA Talking Point and then getting arrested. He was supposedly talking about making money effortlessly on a platform called FXNovus. I signed up and deposited $250 with my credit card. Their customer service officer called to ensure the signup process, but it wasn’t a usual KYC procedure.

I realised the news was fake, so it was most likely a scam. When I tried to withdraw my money, the account manager called and told me not to. I'm unsure if I'll get my money back.
