I was googling for personal loan and stumble upon this website and the company was called credit-8?, i wanted to take up a $4k loan and was contacted by a guy called christian, he called me once and susequently we whatsapp each other, he nevr did inform me abt collateral fees to be paid before the funds can be disbursed, a sum of $720 was needed to secure the sum.

I told him that this was a lot and asked for deferment and reduced the amt to $360 instead.
On the morning of 30th sept, i ws him to agree on trfing the $360 to secure the loan, sum was transferred and a few mins later, he replied with shots from MAS that I needed to settle a 10% GST to $400 before the loan can be disbursed.

I sensed something is wrong and called up credit-89, there's no such person working in that company at all.

I realized i've been scammed and immediately went down to the police station to make a report.

I blocked him on Whatsapp, number and now i fear for the safety of my family as a copy of my nric is with him and i feared my personal data might be misused.

Lesson learnt not to apply online but go over to the company phonline instead.
