Job Scam
Offered a work-from-home job under Northstar travel media singapore pte ltd as marketing assistant. Full-time $4000/mth + 2-5% commission. Gave me the supervisor's Telegram and told me interview will be done on telegram. I've never had interviews on telegram before. Sounds very shady.
I searched for the advert on indeed, which the recruiter said she found my contact details from. Nothing. I checked linkedin under northstar travel media for the recruiter and supervisor's profile. Nothing. I Tried calling the recruiter and the supervisor using my phone and whatsapp but no answer despite multiple attempts. I checked the supervisor's number on paynow and it reflects a Malay man's name instead of ella.
Reported and blocked the number after being unable to verify the other party's identity.
